Amuraa gyaru is a pure 90s style, it emerged in 1995, when she made her solo debut with 'Body Feels Exit'. The style in itself is pretty 'simple' compared to the other gal substyles that were trending at the time.

it's often considered as the first substyle, as it emerged a bit before ganguro! which is why the fashion is pretty alike
